 The Fleetwood Inn is located on Michigan's famed Inland waterway, a recreational paradise for every type of fun on the water. 

The Inland Waterway is a 42 mile stretch of crystal clear rivers and lakes.  Starting at Lake Huron the Inland Waterway flows from the Cheboygan River to Mullet Lake to Indian River to Burt Lake to Crooked River finally ending at Crooked Lake.  Here are some facts:

  • The Fleetwood Inn is The only hotel with boatslips on the Inland Waterway.
  • Launching sites are loctated at several points, Cheboygan and Indian River are home to the best spots to launch 
  • Average travel time end to end is 6-8 hours depending on your speed and rest stops.
  • Gas docks are located at several points throughout the waterway.
  • Food and drink can be found at several spots throughout the waterway, Mulligans, The Hack-Ma-Tack, The Breakers, Hoppies, and The Inn Between are just a few of the great stops catering to boaters 
  • Several beaches and sandy play areas can be found all throughout the waterway.  A few of the best State Parks in Michigan are located on the waterway, including Aloha State Park, Cheboygan State Park and Burt Lake State Park all of which provide easy access for boaters.
